Janine- I totally agree! I have gotten so used to centering my meals around my weekly trips to the Green Market- and part of it's charm is that it is outdoors! I had the great pleasure of watching you prepare carrot soup this August at the Botanic Gardens-and I know you had said that the carrots you used were just out of the ground! Loved it! Keep up the great inspirations!
What great pictures, Joanne! Our Farmer's Market ends in three weeks. Hard to believe it is still going, but there is a lot of produce and fun stuff to buy! The Rutabaga Curl is in three weeks (It's like curling with a vegetable!). We plan to go for the first time. Should be a hoot!
This is where I get to share all I love and have learned about my many years in the Kitchen Biz! I will share recipes, kitchen gadget and cookware reviews, hot dining spots, cool design ideas and more! Hope you will visit often and enjoy.
I'ts always sad to see the market season come to an end. Thanks for the look at your market. Your photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, I share your sadness, but I'm glad that Green City and other markets have indoor spaces year round -- it's great for us and for the farmers.

ReplyDeletethanks Cathy! The photos were from my iPhone using a special app- it really makes them look more painterly with that app which is why I love it...
